At Energy Solicitors, we are proud to support businesses across the UK in navigating complex energy disputes and resolving supplier claims. Below are just a few recent examples where we have achieved outstanding results for our clients:

£200,000 Energy debt removed

Our client was being pursued for over £200,000 in gas and electricity charges relating to a previous tenant. Despite clear evidence that our client was not responsible, the supplier refused to remove the charges and continued to apply them to the account.

We stepped in and forced the supplier to acknowledge their mistake. The full amount was removed.

£20,000 Electricity Bill reduced to £6,500

A client came to us after receiving a demand for over £20,000. Upon investigation, we identified major billing errors. We challenged the supplier and secured a revised bill for just £6,500

The result? £14,000 saved and no further enforcement threats.

£4,000 Saved following Court Judgment

Our client was pursued by an energy broker for nearly £4,000 in commission. We defended the matter in at trial, where the claim was dismissed in full. The court agreed with our position that the client had no liability for the sum demanded.

Over £30,000 claim Settled for £21,000

A supplier issued court proceedings against our client, demanding over £30,000 in outstanding energy charges. We undertook a full review of the account, raised technical and evidential challenges, and entered into robust negotiations.

The matter was successfully settled for £21,000 saving the client more than £9,000 and avoiding the costs and risks of trial.

These are just a few examples of how Energy Solicitors achieves practical and cost-effective outcomes for businesses in commercial energy disputes. If your business is facing a supplier claim or contract issue, speak to our team today.
